Privacy-minded

Your saved trials and profile-building activity are not automatically shared with study teams.

Not medical advice

We provide information and organization tools. Trial eligibility is decided by study teams.

Use responsibly

Don’t abuse the service, scrape at scale, or attempt unauthorized access.

Acceptance

By accessing or using EqualTrialMatch (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

This document is provided for product development and should be reviewed by counsel before a formal launch.

The service

EqualTrialMatch helps users search and organize clinical trial listings and optionally improve ranking signals via preferences and consent-based health data import.

What we do

  • Index and display public trial listings.
  • Provide filters and saved-trial bookmarks.
  • Offer TrialMatch+ ranking assistance.

What we don’t do

  • We don’t diagnose or provide medical advice.
  • We don’t guarantee eligibility or enrollment.
  • We don’t enroll you—study teams do.

Eligibility and accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account.

You agree to provide accurate information and not to impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation.

Not medical advice

EqualTrialMatch is not a healthcare provider and does not provide medical advice. The Service is for informational and organizational purposes only.

Eligibility and enrollment decisions are made by study teams based on full inclusion/exclusion criteria and their screening process.

Third-party services

The Service may link to or integrate with third-party services such as Epic/MyChart and public trial registries (e.g. ClinicalTrials.gov). These services are governed by their own terms and policies.

When connecting Epic/MyChart, you authenticate on Epic’s pages and grant consent for the specific scopes/data types you authorize.

Epic, MyChart, and ClinicalTrials.gov are trademarks of their respective owners. Any mention is for descriptive purposes only.

Registry links (when available): ClinicalTrials.gov

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Attempt to access accounts or data you do not own or have permission to use.
  • Scrape the Service at scale or disrupt performance or availability.
  • Reverse engineer, exploit, or bypass reasonable protections.
  • Use the Service for unlawful purposes or to harass others.

Intellectual property

EqualTrialMatch and its design, logos, and content are owned by EqualTrialMatch or its licensors. You may use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes unless otherwise explicitly authorized.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee that trial listings are accurate, up to date, or suitable for your circumstances.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, EqualTrialMatch disclaims liability for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we may require re-acceptance to continue using protected features.
